For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Vetting Committee, where I’ve gained insight into remarkable organizations dedicated to serving overlooked communities. We’ve provided valuable feedback and, in some cases, offered them the chance to present at our Quarterly meetings. This experience has broadened my understanding of groups committed to addressing both basic needs and creating educational opportunities for those who couldn’t afford them, making it a truly rewarding experience.

As Founder and CEO of Rebirth Homes, my first Barnabas Group meeting in 2015 was a source of encouragement as I heard ministries share about God's work and the invitation to join in. Shortly after, I connected with the Barnabas Group Board and had the opportunity to do a SWOT analysis. At the time, I was working full-time in ministry and volunteering for Rebirth Homes. Despite some fear, I made the bold decision to fully commit to Rebirth Homes. In 2017, Barnabas Group member Bridget joined our board, bringing her social work expertise and prayer. She also helped secure a fully built-out garage for our office through Barnabas, greatly improving our staff’s working conditions. This partnership has been a game changer, and we’re incredibly grateful for Barnabas Group's support in our mission to serve survivors of human trafficking.

Although our events are free of charge, they rely on the generous donations of our Partners for support. Ministries that have been invited by a Partner are welcome to join us at no cost. If you'd like to learn more about becoming a partner, schedule a call with our Managing Partner, Jeff Abbot.
Ministries wishing to attend the event are kindly requested to RSVP and provide the name of their Sponsor, i.e., the Partner who extended the invitation.
Usually, our events take place at one of a few of our regular venues. However, occasionally, we may change the location to better accommodate the preferences and requirements of our Partners and Ministries within our network. Therefore, we advise you to check the location details for each specific event.
The Q1 2025 event will be held on Wed, February 26, 2025, and will take place at the Jessie Turner Health and Fitness Community Center, located at 15556 Summit Avenue, Fontana, CA 92336.
Our events are held on a quarterly basis, typically taking place within the first month of each new quarter. However, please note that event dates may be subject to change.
